Ackcio is a Singapore-based manufacturer of wireless monitoring systems for industrial applications including construction, infrastructure, mining, and rail. Their flagship product line, Ackcio Beam, is an end-to-end wireless sensor network system for automating data collection from geotechnical and structural monitoring instruments. The system uses Ackcio Mesh, a patented long-range mesh communication protocol supporting 12+ sensor types including vibrating wire sensors, tiltmeters, piezometers, strain gauges, load cells, and displacement sensors. Hardware products include the BEAM-DG digital node (RS232/RS485/SDI-12 sensor interfaces), BEAM-VW vibrating wire nodes (single and 8-channel variants), BEAM-TM tiltmeter node, BEAM-RN repeater node, and BEAM-GW gateway. Software platforms include Snape (web-based network configuration and data management) and Nimbus (Android mobile app for on-site configuration). Nodes operate for up to 5 years on batteries with transmission range up to 10 km.
