A spin-off of Beckman Instruments, Beckman Industrial was acquired by Emerson Electric in 1989 and subsequently sold to Fluke Corporation in 1998. Products included handheld and bench-top digital multimeters, clamp meters, oscilloscopes, HELIPOT 10-turn precision potentiometers, cermet trimmer potentiometers, and specialty resistors. Precision potentiometer line (HELIPOT brand) later acquired by Vishay.
