About Carver, Inc.
Hydraulic laboratory and industrial press manufacturer headquartered in Wabash, Indiana, founded 1912 by Fred S. Carver (legal name: Fred S. Carver, Inc.; also DBA Wabash MPI/Carver). Invented and still produces the Model C bench-top hydraulic press, the world's most widely used laboratory press. Product lines include bench-top manual presses (12–30 ton, unheated and electrically heated to 650°F), bench-top automatic presses (Auto Series Plus, 15–48 ton, 7-inch color touchscreen, up to 250 recipes), AutoPellet and AutoPellet RP series, ASTM molding presses, and floor-standing production presses (Monarch series, 30–100 ton). Applications include ceramics, composites, pharmaceuticals, rubber, plastics, PCBs, powder metals, laminating, IR/X-ray sample prep, and soil testing. ISO 9001:2015 certified. Sister division Wabash MPI produces larger industrial presses for automotive, aerospace, and medical markets.
